Woodland Community Youth Basketball
Registration from November 2 - December 2, 2009.
1 hour practice each week
DIVISIONS:
3rd & 4th Grade Boys, 3rd & 4th Grade Girls
5th & 6th Grade Boys, 5th & 6th Grade Girls
REGISTRATION:
You can register your child Mon. Nov. 2nd - Thurs. Dec. 3rd. Registration deadline: Dec. 3rd, there will be a pro-rated late fee if you sign up after this date. You can register on line or pick up the registration form at the district office. Registrations can be mailed to the Woodland Beaver Boosters, P.O. Box 13, Woodland, WA 98674. You may also place the registration form and payment in a sealed envelope labeled beaver booster basketball and turn it into the school or district office.
TEAM DRAW/CLINIC:
Your child will be put on a team and attend a basketball clinic put on by Coach Shepherd, his staff and the varsity boys' basketball team. This will take place Sat. Dec. 5th at 11:00 am in the Woodland MS gym.
COST:
One Child $55.00, Two children $100.00, Three children $135.00 (financial assistance is provided to any child in need of it, I want any child who wants to play to be able to participate, any Q's regarding this contact Coach Shepherd)
PRACTICES:
Practices will start the week of Mon. Dec. 7th; each team will have two 1 hour practices per week. Days and times will be provided Dec. 5th at the draw and clinic.
GAMES:
Games will be every Sat., starting Jan. 9th, we will compete against Kalama teams, the games will take place at Woodland and Kalama gymnasiums.
UNIFORMS:
Team T-shirts will be provided as part of the fee.
COACHES:
Volunteer coaches, assistant coaches and team parents are needed. If you are interested apply at the district office ASAP or by Wed. Dec. 2nd. There will be a coaches meeting right after the clinic on Dec. 5th to discuss policies and issue practice times. TRANSPORTATION:
Parents will be asked to provide transportation to and from both practices and games.
CONCUSSION FORMS:
Each child must have a concussion form filled out and signed by their parent or guardian and turned into their coach before they will be able to participate. Your child will be given the form on Dec. 5th at the clinic.
